THE MECHANICATS TAKE ON UIL STATE!
After winning the MOTIVATE award at the Wylie Regional, the Mechanicats were invited to participate in the 2018 UIL State Championship for FTC in Austin Texas! Due to DISD, the girls had the pleasure of sharing a bus with Townview's FTC team, Iron Reign. Both of these teams left Austin with a win! The Mechanicats placed 12th place out of 32 and Iron Reign was 1st pick for the 1st seed alliance captain. Overall the Mechanicats ended their rookie season with 3 awards and experienced the most success out of all 4 Woodrow FTC teams.
