SUMO Tournament

Setting up a Sumo Tournament

1. Go to BracketHQ.com
2. Log in:

Email: woodrowrobocats56@gmail.com
Password: RoboticsSummer2021

2b. If you are unable to pass the welcome screen hit fix

3. Now we need to create a bracket hit CREATE BRACKET at the top left hand corner of the site.

4. Set the Name for the Bracket

5. Once changed it will reflect on the top left corner of the screen.

6. Now lets go to the Participants tab

7. Select BLANK and set the Bracket Size to 8 or 4 any other number will cause a weird/uneven bracket.

8. Move back to the PARTICIPANTS LIST and add all the bot names for the teams participating. 
Once added hit the Randomized Button Marked in Purple.

9. Return to the BracketOverview Tab
Scroll down and hit the START TOURNAMENT button.

10. If done correctly now BRACKET STATUS Should display In Progress and 0%

11. Play Matches to imput the score hit the subBracket

12. Once you played a match and determined the winner to the winner add a +1 on their score and hit SUBMIT SCORE

13. Keep doing this for the rest of the matches until you find your final winner.

Each team is comprised of a driver and a coach.

  • The driver drives the bot

  • The Coach tells the driver where he should go

Once both sides are ready, count down and start the match
First team to get their bot out of the Competition Circle loses.
