MISSION STATEMENT
WaterFIRST is a coalition pioneered by the Woodrow Wilson Robocats to revolutionize humanitarian clean water using the global FIRST network. We have partnered with outstanding and innovative companies that we believe have created the most effective, sustainable, and cost-efficient way to bring the purest water to the most people. Our organization believes that everyone deserves access to the best clean water.
WHAT WE DO

We help advocate to bring the most pure water currently available to those in dire situations around the world.
Our organization, WaterFIRST, has partnered with an amazing organization pioneered by American entrepreneur, Steve Yencho called Water of Life. Water of Life provides VillageWater which uses WaterUVX, an unprecedented water purification unit, to countries with the worst water—such as Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Mexico, and Uganda. Due to this extraordinary technology, the United Nations has made VillageWater the preferred water purification unit of their Human Settlements Programme. We provide people with the same amount of water as a well—but with better purification standards, more sustainability, and more cost efficient than a well.
For the international aspect, Water of Life partners with Living Water International to bring pure water to other countries. Our organization, for the moment, is serving as volunteer outreach, education, and fundraising gateway for Steve Yencho's organization. We hope to soon reach out to Paper For Water to expand our educational services, and Dig Deep to provide domestic, pure water supply.
WHO WE ARE
The Robocats are a group of student leaders that share a set of core values upheld by each and every member of our team. We pride ourselves on our ability to intersect the principles of a close-knit family, a competitive team, and a high performance lab to engage in our community and enhance the world in powerful ways. We seek to encourage everyone in the discovery, development, and exploration of new ideas and solutions. By transforming the way we manage, distribute, and communicate the advanced use of technology, we form partnerships and bridge gaps in our community. We partnered with Water Of Life to establish WaterFIRST to bring pure water to 1,000,000,000 people in need.
WHY WE DO IT
Our organization is based off of pure desire to help our community and those in need. We started this organization after learning about the devastating effects unclean water has on our brothers and sisters in countries around the world. WaterFIRST was created to help combat those effects and believes that everyone—no matter their race, color, creed, gender/gender expression, age, etc.—should have access to clean water.

To put into the perspective the global water crisis, an artist, Serge Belo, created a mural using colored rainwater the variety of water impurity levels across the globe. The mural takes up 36,000 square feet and creates the image of a fetus, emphasizing the necessity of clean drinking water for every living organism. You can watch his video below:
